Cranes are believed to mate for life, and are considered a symbol of long life, happiness and good luck. The act of folding 1000 cranes shows patience, commitment and fortitude. All good qualities to have an a marriage!

As a part of our wedding decoration, we would like to use this symbol and activity as a way to invite our families to participate from a distance.
